E100 is a global provider for companies with vehicle fleets, offering a network of refueling stations across Europe and Asia. In addition to convenient refueling, we offer a range of services including access to toll roads, VAT refunds and financial solutions such as factoring. With decades of experience, we continuously leverage technology to improve our customers' efficiency and adapt to trends, such as our latest smartphone refueling offering through E100 Mobility. I am a Key Account Manager and was the responsible project manager during the project. In my role as project manager, I was the interface between all stakeholders involved and DatBi.
The main goals of the project were to streamline information retrieval and eliminate the need for manual, labor-intensive Excel spreadsheets. The intended outcome was to improve the speed and efficiency of data access, reducing the time required for analysis. By automating these processes, we wanted to enable staff to focus more on strategic tasks and insights rather than time-consuming data manipulation.
Our service provider selection process was quite simple. The journey began with extensive online research, looking for organizations that specialized in our area of need. During this digital exploration, we came across Datbi. One of our trusted industry contacts, who had already had a successful experience with them, recommended this company. After further due diligence, evaluating Datbi's track record, expertise, cost-effectiveness, and ability to meet our project needs, we concluded that Datbi was indeed the best fit for our project's goals and objectives.
The vendor, Datbi, took an exceptionally thorough and interactive approach to the project. This approach was characterized by regular, detailed communications, primarily through frequent conference calls. These discussions were an opportunity to drill down into the complexities of the project, discuss progress reports, and ensure that all stakeholders had a comprehensive understanding of the ongoing processes.
A dedicated team of 6 to 7 Datbi employees worked on the project. This included a project manager who took primary responsibility for all phases of the project and served as the central point of contact. The other team members, a mix of specialists, took on various technical and operational roles and contributed their expertise to the successful completion of the project.
DatBi has successfully developed and implemented a data-driven product on our platform that leverages the powerful Microsoft stack, including SQL, Power BI, Azure and Azure Data Bricks. They delivered a powerful and scalable solution that leverages the full potential of these tools. By leveraging SQL, the service provider ensured efficient and reliable data storage, retrieval and management within the product. This enabled seamless data analysis and processing and ensured the accuracy and integrity of insights derived from the data. Power BI played a critical role in the solution, enabling the creation of visually appealing and interactive dashboards and reports. This enables our B2B customers to gain valuable insights from their data in a user-friendly and intuitive way. With Azure's capabilities, DatBi has deployed the product on a robust and secure cloud infrastructure. This ensures scalability, flexibility and high availability for us and our customers.
Working with Datbi proved to be extremely effective. They stood out for their high-quality delivery results, speed of execution, and exceptional problem-solving skills. They strictly adhered to the project schedule and delivered on their promises, resulting in project deliverables that exceeded our expectations. The efficiency of their workflow and commitment to the highest quality were impressive.
