The spirits I did not call... A dubious company whose interview partner acquisition practice is at best comparable to spam and at worst to Jehovah's Witnesses. For anyone who has been contacted by infas out of the usual blue sky, I can only advise you not to respond under any circumstances! Otherwise you will not get rid of them for the rest of your life!

My wife received a request for expressly voluntary participation in a survey. She voluntarily opted out. Two months later, she receives a reminder of the expressly voluntary invitation to participate. And of course, in the age of digitalization, these letters are sent by mail. In the process, this survey asks about facts that we still took to the streets against in the 1983 census. The survey had to do with mobility, but the questions showed no real interest in sustainable mobility concepts, and I'm writing this as a software developer for a transportation company.
Thank you for the positive review!

We are being harassed. It feels like we are being pestered by pushers. Infas has sent us a 5-euro-scheme by mail and written that 50 euros will follow if we participate. This is already a method to make you feel guilty if you don't get in touch. So it wants to bring one in Zugzwang. On non-reaction then even a person has rung with us at the apartment door. And when we didn't open the door, she gained access to the house through neighbors and dropped a note in our mailbox. I'm sure they'll be back. Creepy!

A complete stranger approaches a 9-year-old boy with disabilities on the property of our facility in order to interview him. He supposedly has the address from the residents' registration office and would come from Infas...

Both by e-mail and by phone asked not to call in the future. Since this is ignored (calls continue to come), I have now called in the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection.
